Great music, tick… Top venue, tick… Celebrities looking their finest, tick… Yesterday we popped along backstage to the UK’s biggest free outdoor music event – Party In The Park at Temple Newsam.
We shrugged shoulders with some of the best UK music talent, including Alesha Dixon, The Saturday’s, Dizzie Rascal, Professor Green, Beverly Knight and Pixie Lott, all in the name of hair!
Arriving fully equipped with Cloud Nine hair irons and Neäl & Wølf super shine hair spray (a true festival essential), we were the talking point in Artist Village (an area set up backstage, surrounded by portable dressing rooms, a giant sized Connect 4 and a chill out area).
We chatted to the guys (Dane Bowers, Andrew Stone from Pineapple Dance Studio and Lee Ryan from Blue) about the Cloud Nine micro iron, to which Andrew Stone eagerly said, “Wow, that’s neat, where can I buy one?”
Then, moments later, we bumped into singer and songwriter Beverley Knight, who was blown away with what she saw saying “I absolutely love hair straighteners, I’ve heard of Cloud Nine and I think the temperature control is fantastic – Has Alesha seen these? She will love them.” She then said, “Wow, that smell is amazing, it’s just like perfume” (referring to Neäl & Wølf) – What great accolades!
All in all, a truly successful, fun filled day… And who says work can’t be fun?
