New LVL Campaign LIFTS Lash Brand’s Online Profile

lvl-models

The new LVL Lashes campaign imagery has been launched on its Facebook and Twitter pages and on the new website, creating a streamlined look for the brand online.

This re-refreshed imagery supports the training academies and salons that use branded POS effectively throughout their treatments as part of the overall LVL experience.

The new imagery includes a new take on ‘before & after’ images, made popular by fans of the treatment posting images of their ‘before LVL’ and ‘after LVL’ lashes online. Using three different models highlights how LVL – which stands for length, volume & lift – is a treatment that can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of lash type, eye shape, age or gender. The new images have had a fantastic response online with hundreds of fans getting in touch to say how much they love the new look.

The new website is gaining praise for its easy-to-use layout and it ensures that trainers, therapists and clients alike can all access exactly what they need when they need it.

Looking Forwards with Nouveau Lashes

Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 4.22.07 PM

Nouveau Lashes is the UK’s leading lash training academy, providing expert training to beauty professionals, in treatments ranging from lash extensions to their revolutionary natural enhancement, LVL.

Following a successful initial project and undertaking of our unique Brand Discovery™ process, we have been appointed to a retained marketing brief by the leading beauty brand.

Through the brand insights gathered we will be driving awareness of the Nouveau Lashes brands amongst customers and the beauty industry, through a variety of channels – providing 360-degree support, including Brand Strategy, Marketing, Design, Public relations and Social Media.

The brand is part of the Nouveau Beauty Group, which includes, amongst others, the highly successful HD Brows business. In addition to their widespread following, their products have an increasing celebrity profile, including Made in Chelsea star, Millie Mackintosh, who has co-created a range.

Initially, Propaganda will focus on supporting existing products and the development of new lines – such as the LVL treatment – which is leading the way in the recent trend for a more natural, everyday lash look. Standing for “Length, Volume and Lift”, LVL lifts the lashes from the root for a curled, enhanced effect without the need for extensions.

Karen Betts, Co-Director and Owner of Nouveau Lashes said: “We were excited by the insights Propaganda have gathered during the initial phase of works and we’re delighted to welcome their team on board to help us develop our brand. We have seen that their work to create and develop other beauty brands has had a fantastic effect, and we look forward to working together on projects in the future.”

Kryolan Wows London. And We’re There To Capture It.

Screen Shot 2014-08-18 at 1.50.49 PM

Once again, our make-up client, Kryolan, managed to freshly astound its audience of professional make-up artists at its London Masterclass at the magnificent Royal Opera House last weekend.

And I was lucky enough to attend and watch some of the world’s leading (and nicest) artists from all walks of make-up artistry life perform their magic, capturing stacks of lovely content for social media along the way, and managing – what’s becoming the famous – Kryolan Tweetwall, where MUA’s in the audience can see their posts appear on the big screen (and beam our event to all their followers in the process).

From Sandra Cooke, famous for her cover shoots with Kate Moss, creating fresh & natural beauty ‘no make-up’ looks, to Neill Gorton, the BAFTA-winning SFX artist, transforming one unsuspecting regular guy to Dickensian gent (prosthetic nose n’all), and many other super-talented industry talents in-between, it’s certainly one event I didn’t mind giving up my weekend to cover.

Feast your eyes.

Driving to a screen near you, The Car Buying Service’s all new campaign.

Screen Shot 2014-08-05 at 11.13.54 AM

Today see’s the launch of the new The Car Buying Service campaign. Developed by Propaganda, the campaign will include radio, tv, online media advertising and will be supported by a refreshed website.

The Car Buying Service is a growing brand in a relatively new market, and that market contains some big players. For this reason, the campaign focuses on how The Car Buying Service tries harder and ultimately gives their customers a great deal more. All thanks to their great service, great prices and all the little added extras.

Following the success of the last campaign, the adverts once again feature the fantastic voice of Ade Edmondson. And the TV ad follows a similar animatic style to the last campaign, but with a slightly different spin on it.

See the advert for yourself on ITV Yorkshire from today. And for all you non-Yorkshire folk, here’s a sneaky preview… Enjoy.

The S.O.P.H.I.E. Charity Marks The Seven Year Anniversary of Sophie’s Fatal Attack With An Exclusive Acoustic Warm Up Gig At Leeds Trinity Church

1

On the 11th August 2007, 20 year-old Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend, Rob, were viciously beaten unconscious by a gang of youths.  Sophie never regained consciousness. Unprovoked; the attack was carried out purely because Sophie and Rob looked different. They were alternative.

After Sophie’s death, her mum, Sylvia Lancaster, vowed to create a lasting legacy to her daughter, and has dedicated her life’s work to changing attitudes in society and the law to make the world a safer and more tolerant place for alternative subcultures. Sylvia’s work has captured the hearts & minds of mainstream society, celebrities, politicians and even royalty, with the recent announcement of her OBE in recognition of her groundbreaking work in the name of tolerance.

And now, the charity has joined forces with alternative band, Bad Pollyanna, to launch the poignant charity song – Invincible Girl – which will be available to purchase on download and on collectable, limited-edition 30 inch vinyl – in Sophie’s favourite hue, purple.  The single will be available to buy from the 11th August 2014, the seventh anniversary of Sophie’s attack.

Last night, to celebrate the launch of the charity single, the Sophie Lancaster Foundation hosted an exclusive acoustic warm up gig with Bad Pollyanna and supporting acts, Chasing Dragons and Ashestoangels at the stunning Leeds Trinity Church. It was a fantastic evening with emotions running high as Sylvia paid tribute to the people that have supported her and the charity over the past seven years. She praised the work Illamasqua and Propaganda have done over the past seven years to support the charity and raise the profile of this important cause.

Leeds Trinity Church was the perfect backdrop for the event, which saw Olivia Hyde of Bad Pollyanna captivate the audience with her stripped back, beautiful performance of the stunning Invincible Girl song. And was the perfect warm up for next week’s launch event, which will take place in Sophie’s home city of Manchester at Sound Control on the 7th August. Don’t miss out on the chance to be at launch, you can still purchase tickets here.

Here’s a few photos from the event, all credit for the photography goes to Maekstar facebook.com/maekstar.
