Vacancy: Social Media Executive

We have a great opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our established digital marketing team. You’ll be working across a range of B2C and B2B clients in the health, beauty and fashion industries. Reporting to the Head of Social, you’ll be involved in a range of client briefs from strategy through to implementation.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with 1-2 years experience in social media, and has some experience with both Paid and Organic Social Media, specifically Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter.

  • You’ll be a bit of a content-creator and won’t mind attending the odd photoshoot to conduct a quick interview or get behind the scenes content

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Running day-to-day organic and paid social media accounts for a handful of clients in line with their social media strategy
  • Creating a daily posting schedule across key platforms in order to hit organic KPIs around followers, reach and engagement
  • Implementing cost effective influencer campaigns against set budgets to maximise client reach and market positioning
  • Managing paid social campaigns, ad sets and advert creative directly in the platforms of Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn to achieve tangible KPIs that support client business needs
  • Necessary associated set up including maintenance of Facebook pixel, audiences, product feeds, catalogues and product sets
  • Community management tasks – proactive and reactive community management and creating relationships with potential customers
  • Reporting on success, analysing performance on key metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Consulting on discovery briefs for clients, spotting social opportunities and brainstorming ideas and mechanics
  • Communicating and developing supportive and effective relationships with clients

Required skills

  • Basic understanding of both paid and organic social media and how they can help clients achieve their business objectives, whether it’s a big e-commerce brand generating sales, or a B2B brand generating leads, or a new brand launch requiring awareness
  • Excellent copywriting and language skills – you’ll be able to adapt your tone of voice for different brands and produce creative copy confidently and with no spelling errors
  • You should be numerate and comfortable with basic data manipulation to produce reports and insight using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to absorb information and pro-actively seek to develop own knowledge and skills
  • Be proactive in recognising opportunities and different approaches to client paid social strategy
  • Able to forward-plan and prioritise your workload based on client and business requirements
  • Great communication and people skills, able to present your ideas and create positive relationships with clients
  • Adobe Suite and design skills a bonus

Experience

1-2 years experience in a social media role utilising both paid and organic skillsets
