Vacancy: Social Media Creative Executive

The Social Media Creative Executive role is a brand new role within our social media team.

Working alongside Social Media Executives and reporting to a Social Media Director, you’ll be responsible for creative output across a range of our clients. You’ll be working across hair and beauty, food, retail and financial service clients, creating video content (such as TikToks and Reels), as well as product photography and creative design. You should have a natural passion for social media and an understanding of “what works” for social, and how to use basic phone-based software such as Splice, iMovie, TikTok and IG Reels for editing.

You don’t need to be a designer, but you do need to have a creative eye and stick to and understand and stick to brand guidelines. Ideally you would have 1+ years experience in a similar role; or be an eager graduate with a proven portfolio of examples to show us of creative social media content, either for a personal account or for a brand. You’ll be flexible and won’t mind occasionally going on the road to a client’s HQ or to a location to get what you need to fulfill a brief.

Most importantly, you’ll have a passion for social media and an imagination for content creation. You’ll be dynamic, proactive and willing to try different things to get the perfect result. You’ll ultimately have a finger on the pulse when it comes to memes, trends, sounds and hashtags and will be able to create and suggest memorable, scroll stopping social media content for our clients!

Accountability:

As Social Media Creative you are accountable for the success of your creative content on our social channels being error free, meeting the social team and client’s brief and adhering to brand guidelines set by our in-house creative team. Please note this is a pure content creation role and your responsibilities will not include running day-to-day social media for clients.

Deliverables/Responsibilities

  • Your day-to-day role will see you booked via an internal schedule per social media client, creating content to answer briefs that may include static imagery, photography and video output:
  • Creating simple static imagery such as text + image overlays or “designed” tiles that answer a specific brief e.g. for National Days, competitions, quotes etc.
  • Shooting photography (at home, or in environments of your choosing) of products for social media usage in a variety of sectors including FMCG, e-commerce and lead gen for a range of industries spanning hair and beauty, food and drink, finance and education.
  • Creating video content suitable for a range of platforms and mediums including TikTok and Reels specifically, but also for Instagram Grid and Facebook feed spec too.
  • Understand, and be able to answer briefs for both organic social media content for engagement vs. paid social media advertising to give deliverable results and ROI
  • Contribute proactive ideas for social media content across our full range of 12 social media clients, including Propaganda Agency itself and our social presence.
  • Engaging with the in-house creative team, you’ll also be in close contact with our Creative Director and help shape the business understanding of social creative content
  • Your success in the role will be measured on the quality of your creative output and your ability to fulfill briefs within the set time frame.
