Vacancy: Digital Account Manager 

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing all-rounder to join the rapidly growing digital department. Due to Propaganda’s unique approach, this role will encompass a varied mix of digital responsibilities, ranging from strategic analysis and report generation to day to day account and project management across core digital marketing channels.

  • Personable and professional, you will enjoy liaising with clients face to face or over the phone
  • Inquisitive and intuitive, you should be able to take a step back from the channel specific detail to consider the bigger picture
  • Tenacious and tactful, you’ll need to police your colleagues to ensure activities remain on time and on budget
  • Proactive, even when a client isn’t expecting a report or a recommendation, you’ll already have anticipated its necessity and produced it

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Consulting on discovery briefs for clients, spotting digital opportunities, carrying out sector / competitor research and brainstorming strategic recommendations
  • Producing regular insight reports from Google Analytics to help shape strategy
  • Assist in the project management of website design & build projects, creating sitemaps and wireframes ahead of the design stage
  • Creating monthly and weekly reports on successes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicating and developing supportive and effective relationships with clients

Required Experience

  • You will have 3+ years’ experience in a digitally focussed role, either client or agency side
  • Strong knowledge of core digital marketing channels: e-mail marketing, paid search, display advertising, social media & affiliate marketing
  • Experience of website design and build processes ideally in the context of open source platforms such as WordPress, Magento or Shopify
  • Experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram for business purposes
  • Excellent writing and language skills – you’ll be articulate and able to adapt your message to get the required result
  • You should be numerate and comfortable with basic data manipulation to produce reports and insight using Microsoft Excel
  • Able to forward-plan and prioritise your workload based on client and business requirements
  • Great communication and people skills, able to present your ideas and create positive relationships with clients
