Vacancy: Social Media Executive

The Social Media Executive is an important role with the digital department. With at least 1 years’ experience, you should have a natural passion for social media as well as the wider digital marketing channels.

You should have a solid understanding of both organic and paid social media and be able to contribute to the client’s strategy with proactive thinking and value adding content.

Accountability

As Social Media Executive you are not only accountable to your clients but to your line manager and the wider senior management team at Propaganda. You will be accountable for delivering the day to day management of several social media accounts in sectors such as FMCG, E-Com, Financial Services and B2B lead gen. This is alongside offering additional proactive strategic thinking that will ensure that our work is successful for our clients, whether that be within the social media channel or elsewhere.

Deliverables/Responsibilities
  • Running day-to-day social media accounts in line with an agreed organic social media strategy – coordinating, creating and scheduling content and briefing studio to meet client KPIs and business requirements, running community management tasks
  • Influencer and ambassador management – finding and sourcing influencers, communicating with them and briefing on posting requirements. Effective utilisation of a small media budget to maximise client returns and/or ROAS. Retaining an organised list/database of potential accounts to work with and coming up with proactive suggestions for new campaigns and partnerships
  • Day-to-day management of paid social media accounts to achieve client KPIs, provide commercial analysis and make effective and data-based decisions with a client’s budget
  • Creative thinking around existing offline or online campaigns and how they might translate into social campaigns to achieve client KPIs
  • Creating and presenting monthly reports and identifying areas for improvement based on these and clients commercial requirements
  • Develop supportive and effective relationships with clients and colleagues

Given the current climate, this role will initially involve working remotely – including the introductory integration to team and then ongoing management of direct reports.  Longer-term, the role will be based from the Propaganda office in Leeds, with a transition to more flexible working post Covid-19.
