The new appointments are a direct result of strong financial performance for the consultancy, which is credited for its brand transformation work with clients such as Clipper, Boost Drinks and FMG Support. Propaganda has now made a total of nine new appointments in the last three months.

Relocating from London are Sally Tindall, senior planner and Jonathan Palmer, senior account director. The three other appointments are Julian Pearce, corporate communications manager, Beth Catling, project manager and Lucille Pickering, marketing executive.

MasterCard, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, HTC and Bentley are just some of the brands that Propaganda’s newly appointed senior strategic planner has worked with. Sally has previously worked for a number of leading London-based agencies over a fourteen year period, such as MWorks, Momentum, QPM and MBA. Sally has broad sector experience, ranging from retail and FMCG, to luxury and financial services.

Sally said: “I was drawn to Propaganda because they’re a planning led brand consultancy, not a traditional agency. They understand the importance of insight and put strategy before tactics. I’m sure my previous planning experience and Propaganda’s consultative approach will be a perfect fit.”

Jonathan Palmer is another of London’s exports who brings with him eleven years of experience at Nike. As an integral member of the team, working in several marketing departments, he successfully delivered in a number of roles to solidify Nike’s position as market leader. Working closely with strategic retail partners including Selfridges, Office Holdings and JD Sports Fashion he created many market leading, brand enhancing campaigns delivering strong commercial results. Most recently in his position as Brand Manager within the Running Category he led the team to deliver the most successful Run To The Beat ‘Music Half Marathon’ to date, alongside building a passionate, engaged brand loyal community across the UK.

Jonathan said: “I was attracted to the Illamasqua Senior Account Director position because the role demands plenty of retail marketing and brand management, directly playing to my strengths. The ability for a business to reach its commercial goal through the power of building a strong brand is something that I truly believe in. This is the underlying principle of Propaganda’s work with clients, and I can’t wait to start working on this dynamic, fast growing brand and helping it reach its next stage of growth.”

Propaganda’s managing director, Laura Kynaston added: “It’s great to welcome nine new people on board in the space of three months and it’s a credit to our reputation that an agency in Yorkshire can attract the top talent from London. Our proven consultancy model, Brand Discovery™, remains our point of difference and central to the transformational results we deliver. We have had a very positive start to our financial year. Our priority is to find the highest calibre of people to deliver the creative and strategic thinking that both our clients and ourselves demand. I’m sure these recent appointments will be a great addition to the team.”
