New identity to be developed for Yorkshire Forward’s flagship environmental and sustainability organisation
Propaganda, the Leeds-based strategic and creative agency, today announced that it has won the contract to create a new brand identity and engaging proposition for the Yorkshire and Humber Sustainable Futures Company Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation and a wholly owned subsidiary of Yorkshire Forward. The Sustainable Futures Company was established to work with businesses in the region to help them reduce their carbon emissions through the improvement of energy efficiencies and sustainable development.
Propaganda will implement its brand discovery and research programme to create a new brand identity, hierarchy, vision and value proposition for Sustainable Futures Company. This work will be allied to an internal launch strategy and will also influence the development of an ongoing marketing and communications plan for the company, which will be progressed in conjunction with the organisation’s management team.
Commenting on the appointment, Joanne Pollard, Managing Director, Sustainable Futures Company, said:
“It is of paramount importance that all businesses understand the profound impacts of not being environmentally proactive and the clear commercial and growth opportunities that come from implementing energy efficiency and sustainability development programmes. I am confident that with Propaganda on board, the brand that we take to market will inspire companies in the region to take this path.”
Laura Kynaston, joint managing director, Propaganda, said:
“We are delighted to be working with Sustainable Futures Company on developing a brand that has the potential to make such a significant and positive impact on businesses within the region. This is a high profile win for Propaganda and comes at a perfect time following our recent move back to the centre of Leeds and the heart of Yorkshire’s business and financial community.”
“The appointment of Propaganda was a unanimous decision, based on their commercial acumen, the rigour of their proposal and their clear understanding of the strategic and creative requirements of the brief. While the current business climate is undoubtedly tough, the environmental issue is one that will define the future commercial and socio-economic landscape that we will ultimately operate in.”
