The Car People has won the coveted Auto Trader Click Awards
The Car People's website, designed and built by creative agency Propaganda, has been awarded Autotrader Click Awards' Best Website of the Year for the Car Supermarket Category 2008.
The judging of the awards was managed by independent digital market research company e-Digital Research. Direct consumer feedback was obtained from 650 respondents, who were asked about an array of different aspects and functions of the site; including design and layout, ease of site navigation and used car locator facility.
The Car People was voted top in a number of categories including customer service, and the ability for users to search for a car directly from the homepage. The panel was deeply impressed with the variety of search parameters available, including the greener choices that allow searches on insurance groupings, tax bands, CO2 emissions and wallet-friendly MPG economy ratings. The awards demonstrated that when asked about The Car People's site overall 90% of those surveyed gave a ‘very positive' or ‘positive' response.
