Propaganda, the strategic and creative agency, today announced the appointment of Laura Kynaston and Julian Kidger as its new Joint Managing Directors.
The appointments, both internal promotions, reflect the company's consultancy-orientated offering based on the principles of business and brand transformation, as well as its plans for future growth. This includes seizing the opportunities in the private equity and venture capital markets with its new division Brand Multiple, which sees the company further add to its portfolio of strategic marketing and advertising services. The appointments have been made to help drive this growth, ensuring the combined continuity of operational excellence, and strategic financial planning, which has been the bedrock of Propaganda's success.
Laura Kynaston joined Propaganda in 1999, and has held a number of positions including director of client services, and most recently commercial director, where she took responsibility for the operational management of all agency teams. Julian Kidger joined Propaganda in 2006 and led the company through it's landmark £14 million management-buy-out (MBO); he has over 15 years' experience as a finance director, specialising in fundraising and mergers and acquisitions in a range of industries including media, leisure and entertainment.
Julian Kynaston, chairman, Propaganda commented:
"I am delighted that both Laura and Julian are stepping up into the role of joint managing director. They have a great combination of creative, business and financial experience, which is vital in driving forward Propaganda's growth strategy following its MBO two years ago. Propaganda continues to achieve profitable growth year-on-year, despite the tough economic times, which has seen a number of high profile casualties amongst the marketing and advertising agencies in the region.
We continue to have an unprecedented pipeline of new business and an enviable client retention rate, based on the simple principle of making a real difference to their businesses. I am looking forward to working with Laura and Julian in their new roles to ensure that we continue on this path and realise our ambitious growth plans."
Mike Phillipson will continue as a director at Propaganda, with responsibility for driving new business as well acting as a senior consultant on key clients.
