Global SIM card supplier, GO-SIM, has appointed strategic and creative agency, Propaganda to develop its brand proposition and support its ambitious business objectives. Propaganda will handle GO-SIM's entire marketing communications function, across brand management, interactive marketing and PR for a minimum of 12 months.
GO-SIM is a market-leading, global provider of prepaid SIM cards and services, which enable customers to use their mobile phones in 175 countries at a fixed rate, with free roaming in 70 countries.
In a price-led industry where consumers are driven purely by cost, Propaganda has been tasked with developing a differentiated, compelling and emotional brand proposition for GO-SIM, drawing on the insights gathered from the brand discovery programme.
Propaganda group business director, Kirsty Cowan commented: "With the increasing cost of living playing on people's minds, and the holiday season now upon us, roaming charges are high on the consumer agenda. We are delighted to be working with a global brand that can offer a real solution to these concerns and see a significant opportunity in establishing an emotional connection between GO-SIM and its customers."
David Agar, GO-SIM chief executive added: "We were impressed with Propaganda's rigorous approach to building brands and transforming business. GO-SIM has a strong brand presence in the UK, USA and Australia and provides superior service delivery. So we're looking forward to working with Propaganda to maximise the potential of our brand by creating an emotional point of difference for the brand in a very price-led market."
