How Many Crisps Could You Buy With £10,000? One Lucky Seabook Crisps Winner Is About To Find Out.

Seabrook Crisps, the original crinkle-cut crisp manufacturer, has awarded one lucky fan a whopping £10,000!

Jennifer O’Brien from Rugby, Warwickshire, entered the much-loved crisp brands’ recent competition. The competition was part of a wider campaign developed by Propaganda to celebrate the launch of its groundbreaking no salt crisps, ‘Goodbye salt Hello flavour’. The campaign was a phenomenal success and received huge levels of engagement with fans.

Jennifer was picked by random from the thousands of entries to scoop the top prize but she wasn’t the only winner. A total of £11,200 was given away over an eight-week period as fans were given the chance to win £200 shopping vouchers daily, yearly supplies of crisps and even tours of the famous factory.

The £10,000 cheque was presented to Jennifer by Seabrook Crisps Chairman & CEO, Ken Brook-Chrispin, at the Seabrook Crisps factory in Bradford yesterday. After the presentation she was treated to a tour of the factory with soon-to-be husband, Paul.

Ken said: “This is the first time we have run a competition like this and we are delighted to be presenting the money to such a worthy winner. I hope she enjoys every penny of it."

If You Do One Thing Today, Please Be More Tolerant

In August 2007, young Goth woman, Sophie Lancaster was savagely beaten by a gang of youths because she ‘looked different’.

Four years ago today she tragically died from her injuries.

After her death, Propaganda and Illamasqua made a pledge to help Sophie’s mother, Sylvia, to do all we can to help the charity she set up in her daughter’s name, The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, to Stamp Out Prejudice, Hatred & Intolerance Everywhere.

Four years on, although we are still reeling from the unnecessary death of this vibrant, smart young woman, we are also extremely proud and honoured to have helped the charity come so far…

But don’t just take our word for it. Please watch this short film that we have produced for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, to see the impact Sophie’s story and her charity’s work has had on the world.

Enjoy, and let us know what you think.

Help us Stamp Out Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere by donating, buying a wrist band or a Sophie pencil at www.illamasqua.com/sophie
