Propaganda Boosts Creative Team with Senior Appointments

We are proud to announce the promotion of Lee Bennett and Joseph Hughes to the position of Joint Head of Creative. The new board-level position will bolster the Propaganda creative offering, bringing together creative and design disciplines and catering for an increasing client need for visionary creative output.

Lee Bennett has been with us for more than a decade, having previously held the position of Design Director. Joseph Hughes returns to the business as part of a renewed creative team, responsible for realising client strategies through strong creative output.

Our Managing Director, Laura Kynaston, speaks highly of the new appointments. She said: “Lee and Joseph are both held in very high regard in the industry, and bringing their forces together in this new role will provide significant benefits to our clients and our work. We’ve made a name for ourselves over the past 20 years by creating stunning campaigns for clients, backed up with the security of strategies anchored in insight. It’s especially pleasing to see yet another senior position come from within the organisation. Lee joined us at the very start of his career and has worked his way up through the business. Equally, to see Joseph return after several years away progressing other projects shows just what a compelling proposition Propaganda has. It’s a mark of how importantly we regard creativity that we now have this representation at this level on our board.”

Bennett added: “This new joint role will keep Propaganda at the forefront of creativity and allow us to continue delivering work that works for our range of clients. I’ve been incredibly proud of our creative output over the years, from Ann Summers and Tangle Teezer to Clipper Logistics and MagnaColours. Working alongside Joseph means we can approach new and existing clients with renewed vigour.”

Hughes concluded: “It’s fantastic to be back at an agency I’ve enjoyed so many great times with. While the world has changed, the principles Propaganda prides itself on haven’t. Powerful brand and business insights that lead to hard working creative that actually does what it’s supposed to do is still incredibly hard to come by, and that’s what makes Propaganda special. I’m looking forward to working closely with Lee to challenge the industry and provide bold work for clients.”

Propaganda has been around for over two decades, and we’re still owned by the same management team. Over that time, we’ve won numerous awards from the Management Consultancies Association for producing results for clients. Our work spans a broad array of sectors, ranging from retail to telecoms and everything in-between.
