Expanding Teams At Propaganda

Lizzie, Rachel and Beth

We’re pleased to say that we’ve expanded our design, account management and planning teams with new appointments and promotions.

Lizzie Irwin joins us as a creative artworker for the Illamasqua colour cosmetics brand, which was created by our chairman and founder Julian Kynaston in 2008. Lizzie, 30, is originally from Middlesbrough, but now lives in Leeds and was previously working as a freelance creative designer at Opera North. She has been working in graphic design for six years and has a BA in Visual Communications which she gained from Leeds College of Art & Design in 2005.

Both Rachel Stephens and Beth Catling are taking on new roles within new teams here – changing their area of work to develop their experience in other elements of the marketing mix.

Rachel Stephens, 24, graduated from Leeds University in June 2010 with a BA in Theatre Studies and Performance and went on to work at a Leeds-based PR firm before joining our social media team in March 2012. Rachel’s new role is as Illamasqua project manager, in which her responsibilities will include liaising with the design team to develop and deliver creative campaigns for the cosmetics brand as it strengthens its global position.

Born in Bradford, Beth Catling, 22, first joined us on a work experience placement last year and was offered a role in June 2012 as a junior account executive shortly after she graduated from Edgehill University with a BA in Media and Advertising. Her new role, which she started last month, is as a junior planner which sees her involved in the development and deployment of our proven consultancy model – Brand Discovery – for a number of clients including Illamasqua, FMG and The Car People.

Our Managing Director, Laura Kynaston, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Lizzie to the team and also that Beth and Rachel have taken on new roles with us. All three new appointments demonstrate that we are committed to both attracting and retaining talented people within Yorkshire and beyond. Only by employing people of the highest calibre can we continue to deliver the business results for our clients, which are results that everyone here at Propaganda are justly proud.”
