A Tribute To The Invincible Girl

7 years ago, on 11th August 2007, Sophie Lancaster was brutally attacked in a Lancashire park because of her alternative appearance. She never regained consciousness and died two weeks later.

To mark the seventh anniversary of the attack, raise crucial awareness & funds to enable The Sophie Lancaster Foundation to continue to change attitudes in society, the charity has teamed up with alternative band, Bad Pollyanna, to record the charity single Invincible Girl which has now officially launched.

The charity and Bad Pollyanna worked closely to write and record a track that could resonate with people from all walks of life, and sum up the strength and inspiration many people have taken from Sophie’s story, seven years on.
